Barney Buchan is the Chief Operations Officer of The Unlimited World a subsidiary of The Unlimited Group. After a successful stint in the UK, Barney Buchan joined The Unlimited World as IT Director in 2003. He restructured The Unlimited World’s IT system, transforming it into an operational and strategic resource.

Barney Buchan’s early career included roles as Support Engineer, Software developer and Software Manager. At 25, he became director of Software Development and IT at London’s listed Nasstar. The experience exposed him to international best practices and armed him with valuable experience for the future.

His knowledge and understanding of IT systems and software has played a fundamental role in raising the standard of operations in The Unlimited World. Barney Buchan designed The Unlimited World’s unique IT platform that integrates all the key areas of making a sale, from the initial sales pitch to the collection of the debit order. Turnaround times have improved. This has transformed operations into a culture of sales support.
